Helen Cole has been playing the piano since the age of 5. At 16 years of age, she began teaching piano students while completing her Grade 10 practical and theoretical piano requirements. She attended and graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Music, Piano Solo Performance.
Besides teaching, Helen's next favourite thing to do is perform. She has played for various musical theatre groups in Niagara and is currently the pianist/keyboardist for the Jimmy Marando Swing Band. She has extensive experience accompanying musical groups of all sizes (choirs, trios, ensembles), as well as conducting children's choirs. She has also been the Music Director for a couple of churches in the Niagara Region. Helen loves to teach people of all ages, from child to senior, passing on her passion for music and performance.
