Guitar/Bass/Song Writing Instructor

Rod has been playing guitar since he was 10 years old. He has played in many bands including Rudy Quazar which he formed in 1998. They have played hundreds of shows and recorded 3 albums. Rod wrote and recorded solo material feverishly during this time. From 2004-2006 he toured North America as lead guitarist in the Roger Marin Band, contributing co-writes and guitar playing to Roger's Album: High Roads. In 2007 he broke the world record for longest guitar marathon. In 2009 he walked across Canada, and subsequently released a double vinyl of original material called The Walk in 2012 at his live music web-stream wake-a-thon where he performed for 100 hours. Rod then recorded and released Illegally Blind Act I (2015) and Illegally Blind Act II (2016) as two separate albums. These were staged live at the In the Soil Festival. He covered 38 albums in their entirety over the years in a series of concerts at Taps Brewhouse in Niagara Falls. His recent original releases include: Outlaws of Sherwood - Gradiations of Drunkitude (2017) and Honkytonk Knightmare (2018), his thrash metal debut: Evil Monster (2019) and Outlaws of Sherwood - Fireside Confession (2020). He is currently working on a funk bass project called Rodzilla and Evil Monster II.
